What we collect
We keep the information required to run BlackCherry responsibly: the email address you submit, the page or story that led to that signup, and lightweight site analytics that help us understand what readers actually use.
Why we collect it
We use your email to deliver story continuations, send new-drop announcements, and improve the reading experience. We use privacy-first analytics to understand which stories, entry points, and calls to action are working.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal data. We do not build an advertising profile around you. We do not run invasive third-party ad tracking across the site.
Email and unsubscribe
If you join the list, you may receive story delivery emails and future updates from BlackCherry. Every email should include a way to unsubscribe, and you can stop hearing from us at any time.
Processors we rely on
BlackCherry currently relies on third-party providers to host the site, store subscriber data, send emails, and measure site usage. Those providers only receive the information needed to perform their part of the service.

If you need your email removed or have a privacy question, reply to a BlackCherry email and we will handle it manually while the product is still in its early stage.
